Rooska 2013

Last week I was in Ireland. Things are going well at my place in the country.

There was a lot of growth of Gorse and Brambles:

The trees are also doing well:

They are now mostly too big to be smothered by the grass. The major risk for the next few years is from fire.

My wall has weathered nicely:

The sides of the main drain are being softened by growth:

Overall I am very pleased. Next year I may have to make more of an effort to clear weeds from the roads. There is a little damp by the back door of the barn. That door may need to be replaced.
