New Old Flat

I am now renting the flat which I used to own. How unlikely is that? Most of my old furniture is still here.

Now to find a job. My ideal would be to join a Web Development team in the City but I would not be too troubled by going back to work in the IBM mainframe environment. That is where I spent most of my career hitherto.

In the last couple of weeks, I have wandered around many of my old haunts and been surprised by how many businesses and office-buildings have closed and shuttered.

Some relatively new buildings seem derelict. This cannot be a good sign.

Finding work in London is still going to be easier than doing so in Ireland.
